My Hat

 Namaste Bloggers

Yesterday we described our hats using specific  words. Like Crown and peak. This is a recording of the drawing and writing I made.

Thank you for reading my blog post if you have created a hat description then you can share it with me in the comment section. What can I improve on next time you can tell me in the comments. I found this task very easy to do, but I did enjoy learning new words attached to the writing. If I were to do this again I would change what hat I used to make my writing.

ASB Waterfront Theatre/ Genesis program and The Spark 5G Race Zone trip

 Namaste Bloggers

Last week the year 5 and 6's had one of the most exciting experiences ever. We went to the Waterfront Theatre, where the kind Genesis people showed us how to use a Sphero ( bolt ) robot ( but I already knew how to use it.) They taught us  how to aim the Sphero, change the colour ( on the top ) and they taught us how to race them around the America's Cup course ( Mohit, and I won one ).

Then we had Morning Tea, after we did that my group went to the 5G Race Zone. First we went to the wind room. It told us where the air current was coming from and how hard it was blowing. When we got to the next room and we got to do a simulation of the Te Kahu ( the ship New Zealand's going to use in the 2021 Americas Cup ). Then we watched a movie about the Te Kahu, explaining why we should win the cup again. After that we got to build our own version of the Te Kahu, we were scored out of one hundred.

This is someone in the schools boat I couldn't find mine ( mine was the highest score in my group mine was 90)
Your Photo

My favorite part of today was making my own version of the Te Kahu.

These are some photos that we tookYour PhotoYour PhotoYour PhotoYour Photo

These photo's were made with AR ( augmented reality ) with the little stations in the Race Zone.

The 5G Race Zone is open to the public it is free but you're only allowed in there for an hour. Thank you for reading my blog post if you went there you can tell me what you did in the comment section below.

Museum Trip

 Namaste Bloggers

Today I will be telling you about me and my classes trip to The Auckland War Memorial Museum. At 10:00 am we saw the buses arrive. On the way to the museum some of the students in our class started to sing weird songs ( that really annoyed me ). When we got to the museum we were separated into groups of 6-7 people and an adult. My favorite part of the museum was the volcano room. One of the things that I learnt, was that in the war they had grenade crossbows ( and yes I'm not joking! ). One question that I had was why they had such a tiny Egyptian exhibition. After lunch, we walked down to the winter gardens.

This is a image of us there.

Overall, this was an amazing experience. You can share you experience in the comments. Bye.

Tapa cloth

Talofa Bloggers

Today I will be showing you a Tapa cloth ( Tapa cloth, also known as Siapo is a traditional way, to make clothing in Samoa) that I made on google drawings that I made yesterday. Did you know that the colors that they use are all from plants, like yellow is from turmeric. I created my Siapo by repeating the patterns that I had, I also did it by by resizing them, rotated them, and by translating them.

Thank you for reading my blog post if you have any more facts you can leave them in the comment section.

Beach descriptive writing

Namaste bloggers
Today I will be sharing some descriptive writing about the beach
with you

Beach description
As the blazing sun stalks the people on the beach,
the seagulls ravage the fallen food. The children pester their
parents and whine for ice cream and candy floss.
Toddlers are amazed when they saw Vitaraag skydiving from
Manukau bridge to the beach.

As the time passing everything gets withered, the mountain gets
withered which causes avalanches, and the pebbles get withered.
As the stars shone a shooting star crashed on the beach the
sand cried. When that happend the humans wished on that same
shooting star.

Shoals of colorful fish dart around the seagulls they get caught by
the hunters.

Did you like you descriptive writing? Tell me in the comments.
