Running tabloid sports

Last week Monday, my class and I ran tabloid sports. Lanisi Pita and I ran Line tag It's a game where you have to run on the lines and their are two taggers. This is my tabloid sport reflection.

My Hat

Yesterday we described our hats using specific  words. Like Crown and peak. This is a recording of the drawing and writing I made.

I found this task very easy to do, but I did enjoy learning new words attached to the writing. If I were to do this again I would change what hat I used to make my writing.

Today we did cybersmart with Phil we got the tasks from Ako Hiko Cybersmart here is the link. This session we were learning how to find what things are fake and what things are real. ASB Waterfront Theatre/ Genesis program and The Spark 5G Race Zone trip

Last week the year 5 and 6's had one of the most exciting experiences ever. We went to the Waterfront Theatre, where the kind Genesis people showed us how to use a Sphero ( bolt ) robot ( but I already knew how to use it.) They taught us  how to aim the Sphero, change the colour ( on the top ) and they taught us how to race them around the America's Cup course ( Mohit, and I won one ). 

Then we had Morning Tea, after we did that my group went to the 5G Race Zone. First we went to the wind room. It told us where the air current was coming from and how hard it was blowing. When we got to the next room and we got to do a simulation of the Te Kahu ( the ship New Zealand's going to use in the 2021 Americas Cup ). Then we watched a movie about the Te Kahu, explaining why we should win the cup again. After that we got to build our own version of the Te Kahu, we were scored out of one hundred. 

This is someone in the schools boat I couldn't find mine ( mine was the highest score in my group mine was 90)

My favorite part of today was making my own version of the Te Kahu.

These photo's were made with AR ( augmented reality ) with the little stations in the Race Zone.

Me and my class made Diya's ( Indian Candles )

Last week me and my class made Diya's. We made Diya's thanks to the instructions by Room 6, these's are the amazing instructions that I followed, thank's Sascha. Something that I found challenging was deciding what patterns to put on it.
